Tsp cake
Staffordshire Wedding Cakes
So you might be asking yourself what on earth does TSP stand for when your name is Heather? Well Tsp stands for teaspoon. Once upon a time I had a beautiful little coffee shop called teaspoon, shortened to Tsp (or tssppp). After we closed it I knew I wanted to carry on the cake side of the business and Tspcake was born. Baking is my passion, I love nothing more than creating flavourful cakes with the most fluffy moist sponges, fresh jams and rich chocolate ganaches. I’m a total foodie and I know lots of my couples come to me because my textures and flavours can’t be matched. They often come back to order birthday, anniversary or even baby shower cakes well after their wedding. I also happen to make exquisite sugar and wafer flowers too.
But back to me…I’m Heather and I live in Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire with my husband and 3 little children. I have a love for gardening although I’m not sure I’m too good at it. I think this love helps with my cake design, I like to create realistic looking flowers and floral displays on my cakes, and often mix tones and textures to create a bouquet style of floral display.
I have a degree in 3D design from Staffordshire university. I love ceramic design (maybe it’s in my blood with being from the Potteries?) and this love also shows through in my cake designs. I enjoy adding textures and pattern into my designs, often with a rustic painterly look, and I’ll look to using none traditional elements such as tea, chia seeds, gold leaf and edible petals to create something beautifully unique.
I really hope you love my style and will love working with me. If you’d like to get in touch please head over to me contact page.
I look forward to meeting you!
Heather xx
